El monóxido de Carbono, los hidrocarburos, los óxidos de nitrógeno, el anhídrido sulforoso y otras partículas, obviamente que afectan la salud de las personas, en especial los niños. El peor problema lo sufrimos cuando estamos en una parada de buses y estos son acelerados: todo el mundo queda bañado, tosiendo y hasta negro del humo de estos mal calibrados buses. Pero todavía más serio y grave es la situación cuando en paradas casi cerradas como la de Cartago en San José los buses aceleran y la gente pegados en la pared nos queremos asfixiar. Y hasta se han dado casos que dejan el bus encendido y los usuarios tienen que soportar la contaminación.
Bueno, esta situación de seguro que se vive en la mayoría de las paradas de Costa Rica y la gente mansa y calladamente soporta la situación porque decir algo es arriesgarse a que los choferes les respondan con insolencia, con malacrianzas; y al fin y al cabo todos los días el usuario tiene que hacer uso de los buses.
Así que no nos queda más que el derecho al berreo e interpretando el sentir de muchos hago este comentario.
Otros que se están viendo afectados son los vecinos de la Urbanización -Beta-Rohmoser, a quienes les instalaron un plantel donde se guardan gran cantidad de buses de Pavas. Ahora ellos sufren un alto grado de contaminación por humo y ruido de los buses que guardan ahí, además del ruido y las vibraciones que empiezan a las 4 de la mañana y terminan a las 10 de la noche.
Seguiremos protestando porque la contaminación nos va a ahogar en San José y pareciera que a nadie le importa.
