08 dic | karla espinoza. Vecinos de Ostional consideran que la casa fue bañada en combustible, por la rápida propagación de las llamas

El domingo pasado a eso de las 11:30 de la noche,mientras Gilberth Rojas Araya, Dirigente la Comunidad de Ostional, dormía al lado de su esposa, comenzó la tragedia.

Las llamas consumieron inmediatamente la vivienda. Sin embargo la pareja y otros dos turistas que permanecían en la casa lograron salir.

Los vecinos de la comunidad consideran que el incendio no fue accidental, sino más bien mano criminal.

Gilberth comentó que había recibido amenazas anteriormente, ya que hace varios meses fue baleado mientras recorría la playa, pero las autoridadades nunca intervienieron y archivaron la denuncia, explicó el Lic Wilmar Matarrita; Coordinador General del Frente de Comunidadades Costeras Amenazadas por políticas y políticos exterminadores

 

MINAET

Según un comunicado del Frente de Comunidades Costeras,Rojas ha luchado contra los desalojos que amenazan a las comunidades. En los últimos años ha tenido fuertes enfrentamientos con funcionarios del MINAET, quienes lo han perseguido por varios medios, aplicando contra él incluso acusaciones en los tribunales.

Matarrita comentó que el Organismo de Investigación Judicial llegó sólo a tomar fotografías.Los vecinos de Ostional esperan que el OIJ se presente hoy para iniciar con la investigación.

 

No vamos a tolerar la impunidad y la persecusión contra nuestros dirigente" manifestó el Coordinador.
